Einem jungen Flüchtling, der hungrig und müde ist, wird Hilfe verweigert. Nach tagelanger Mühsal und Fasten in einem kleinen Dorf auf dem Land, blind vor Hunger, tötet er eine Katze, um sich zu ernähren. Das Treffen mit dem Besitzer, einem alten Bauern, wird ein unerwartetes Ergebnis bringen. 

A young refugee, hungry and exhausted, is refused any help. After days of toil and fasting in a small village in the countryside, out of unbearable hunger, he kills a cat to feed himself. The meeting with the cat's owner, an old hunter, will have an unforeseen outcome.
